Last couple of pics for the day - This is my first time "blogging" so I must get a bit more organized. Sorry the pictures are before the intro.

This is the way it looks this evening. Jim will be back in the am to add some more rock and fix a couple of stakes. Then probably nothing for a few days. But at least we are started. (supposed to rain tomorrow anyway)

Building Begins

After really questioning if we would ever get started on the new house, the adventure begins. Kim and I met with the contractor who would be doing the dig out and pouring the foundation on Saturday. Jim thought he would move the cat on site on Monday. I didn't want to get my hopes up, so was really surprised and tickled when he drove in around 9:00 am this morning. Randy is out on a trip, so we had to make the decision about exactly where the road would go over the phone last night. I was pounding the last stakes and trying to take pictures to send to Randy as they drove in.
